At The Chequers Caravan Park, we ensure our guests have everything they need for a comfortable stay. That’s why we stock a variety of gas bottles suitable for caravans, exclusively for those staying on our site. Whether you’re keeping warm on a chilly evening or cooking a meal outdoors, you can rely on us for a convenient and reliable gas supply throughout your visit. Our on-site availability means you won’t have to travel far to get the essentials you need for a stress-free stay.
We recognise that finding secure storage for your motorhome or caravan can be challenging. That’s why we offer long-term, secure storage solutions on-site. Our facilities are designed to provide peace of mind, knowing your vehicle is safe and protected in our care. Situated conveniently near major routes and the Port of Dover, our storage services are ideal for residents of Dover and the surrounding areas, as well as travellers seeking a trustworthy location to store their vehicles before embarking on their next journey.
Looking to get your caravan or motorhome serviced whilst on holiday? We have an independent MCEA registered engineer on site three days a week who can carry out this work for you whilst you are out and about exploring the local area.
Advanced booking for both a pitch and the service is required. In addition, should you have an issue whilst staying with us, the engineer is contactable at short notice to help with any repairs.
Arrival on site is between 12 noon and 7pm.
Departure is by 11 am. Early departures are not a problem.
Pets are welcome on site; we simply ask that dogs are kept on a lead at all times. Dog waste bins are provided and there are a number of walks nearby. Please let us know on the booking form what type of pet you are bringing and how many.
Weather permitting, barbecues and firepits are allowed. If they are not raised off the ground we can provide a pallet for your use to ensure the grass doesn’t burn.
Please check with Simon or Leanne if you wish to use a firepit.
Day visitors are allowed up to a maximum of five people per pitch including children. There is a charge of £1 per person. Visitor vehicles must be parked in the carpark at the front of the site.
Ball games are not permitted on the touring field. We have an area at the back of the site with space for ball games and we have a couple of small football goals should our younger campers wish to have a kick around.
